Did you know that Cedar Point wasn't always the roller coaster capitol of the world?! In fact, Cedar Point was almost turned into a housing development! Yes, in 1956, George Roose and Emile Legros bought the park to turn it into a different type of resort... yikes! But I'm sure all of you Cedar Point enthusiasts would love to see the park torn down so you could live on it... just kidding! Luckily, the action was never carried out!
